Pre-bent are easier to install. To make lines yourself you need flare tool for break lines to install line ends

SOURCE: Replacing brake lines

Many issues can come into play when trying to mount prebent lines. First off, they are connected in
many of the same brackets as other lines, (ie.: fuel lines) . And sometimes because of the length and shape of a prebent line, other things such as the muffler routing, fuel tank position, ABS lines,
strut mounting can all " get in the way" of a one piece replacement. And of course all those lines would need bled of air when complete which poses problems if old bleeder screws are bad as well.
My suggestion would be to save the money on a factory bent line , head to or have towed to a
reputable garage and ask if they can service the lines, the experienced techs have ways of freeing
up a frozen bleeder, working around the hazards in the way with aftermarket replacement
brake lines and all the necessary adapters for proper connection. I have many years in the field,
and I have to say, YOU DON'T GET A SECOND CHANCE WHEN IT COMES TO BRAKES

Ha Ha Ha I applaud your eagerness to fix things, but this is one thing I would let go.
thnx GT GOOD LUCK

PS Tell them what you have to work with and the quality shops will do what they can to help you.
The money you would spend on Dealer parts shoud be easily enough to more than cover the aftermarket repair.

SOURCE: no brake line pressure on 1 caliper after replacing caliper

I suspect you may have twisted the hose on re assembly. The other possibility is that the bleed nipple is choked with dirt and rust. Remove it completely and see if the fluid starts to run out. If so replace nipple or clean out.

SOURCE: leaking brake fluid from rear driver side brake

They don't make diagrams for brake lines. The lines are sold in bulk. You need to measure and duplicate the bends in the orignal lines and cut/flare the lines yourself. You will need a tubing cutter, flare tool and tubing bender.

I need to replace a couple of the steel pre bent brake lines on my son's 1999 Monte Carlo and cannot find a site to order just the parts I need or a schematic to help determine what I need.

prebent brake lines are usually not available, parts store carry different lenghts already flared with fittings, all you need is to figure out how long a line you need better to get one a little longer and bend it to fit , also available are unions and adapters from metric to standard etc

I need to find a brake line diagram for a 1990 f150.

Your not going to find one. Brake lines need to be made you can't buy prebent lines. The main lines runs down the drivers side of the vehicle to feed the rear barkes along the frame with the fuel lines and the parking brake cable. Thats the one that rusts out. You can buy line cheap but it has to be the same size and you just stratien it out. You will need a tubeing cutter a flareing tool and some brake fittings. You can also buy stright sections with the flare and fittings pre made but olny 4 feet long. This is the easyest way remove the rear fitting at the junction in the rear run the premade peice toward the front and cut the line at an easy spot to make the new flare so all you need to make is one flare and one new coupleing just make sure you put the new coupleing on before you do the flare then thread it all together and it will work for another 15 years good luck Inow this may sound complex but its not and if you can do this it will save you hunderds of dollars

Rear brake line that runs from caliper to frame needs replaced

you can buy brake line at a parts store that has ends all ready on it . you may have to buy a hand bender if there is sharp bends other wise bend by hand . every bend will shorten length . it is best to take old one off and match up .
