My 2004 ford freestar runs well but is leaking about a quart of oil a week almost

If it's leaking from inside the engine then it would be coming from the valve cover. The cover gasket seal is no longer sealing properly. If oil is leaking down under the car then check around the oil pan, could be gasket or rear main oil seal or front oil seal.

I need to know where the freon goes in on my 2004 ford freestar as there are 2 ports? 1 right out in front & 1 right next to the unit.

one should say hi the other low ....it goes in the low side

My 2004 freestar refueling problem

This is a venting problem. When the gas goes in, the air has to come out. If the air vent is blocked, the fuel wil spit back as the air forces it's way out the filler pipe.

Sometimes the vent pipe is inside the filler pipe, sometimes it runs alongside the filler pipe.

For the 2003 Winstar, it is a separate fresh air hose. Frestar was it's replacement in 2004 so it may be different. Check for a plugged or kinked hose.

As long as the pulley on the compressor does not fail . The pulley needs to turn so the drive belt will stay on.

How to dain radiator 2006 ford greestar 3.9L

Position a Drain Pan and uncouple the Radiator Bottom hose clamp, pull of the Hose gently, as you may have to reuse it, and let the Coolant go, Cold engine only, obviously.

I had the same problem and apparently fixed it by mistake. I replaced the cruise control deactivation switch under the master cylinder, hoping the cruise would be fixed. Some how with that the "trac off" light went out and gave me the ability to turn it on/off from the button again. The part was $30 from the local dealer and easy to replace. Before you run out to replace the switch check the connections on the old one. It plugs in upside down which may accumulate water from puddles and things causing connection issues ( a known problem ).

This has happened twice to me now. The problem was the battery was going bad. Replaced the battery and everything is fine, now.
