98 gmc Sonoma blower motor and resitor out!

Either my blower motor or resitor is out, and I can't figure out how to get to either of them. I know they are located under the dash behind the glove box, but how do I take the motor out to put the new one in? How can I find out which one is out?

I have a 95 and the blower motor and the resistor are under the hood on the passenger side, the resistor is on the top of the heater box and the blower motor is to the left back in the cubby hole.

The blower motor itself is under the hood on the firewall.usually passengers side..you may have to take the fan off from the inside.

1995 GMC Sonoma - blower motor works intermittently. Switch works fine. When switched to high, it might take a few minutes for blower to actually come on.

There is a relay under the dash on the passenger side that operates the fan. You can bump the dash on the under side passenger side. And the fan should come on. If so the relay needs replaced.

Rear a/c doesn't blow any air front works fine

It sounds that either your blower motor or resitor in the rear unit is out. Pull the panel apart and check for a signal to the blower motro.
