Yes there is. Did you disconnect the battery?

1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds .

try turning on ignition until lights on guages comes on (dont start ) then hit unlock button on drivers door,the security light should go out . good luck

The security system (VATS/PassKey) is having problems, it's typical on those cars. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

It is likely the contact points in the lock cylinder. Replace the lock cylinder.

This is usually caused by a defective alternator, check if the car is charging your battery well

Sounds like a security system try putting the key in turn it on dont try to start wait 10mins turn off remove key for 5 seconds repeat 2 more times see if this helps
