Hello / I have a car maintenance workshop Question / How change Automatic oil gerbox Renault Megane 2005 Thank you

You need to get under the car, identify the transmission oil pan and look for the drain plug:

26062649-yytlcu2b3evmxr44xdn3gosb-1-0.jpg Place a large plastic dish beneath the drain plug and the undo the plug. Allow the old fluid to drain into the dish. Replace the drain plug.

Locate the filler plug - it will be on the side of the transmission, higher up. Use bottles with spouts to fill with the correct amount of transmission fluid .. or .. possible .. fill with fresh transmission fluid via the transmission dipstick.

Where is the transmission drain plug on 97 mitsubishi mirage?

If you are referring to an automatic transmission, most manufacturers no longer put a drain plug on them. This is to prevent removal of the wrong plug when changing the engine oil. Also, since manufacturers recommend changing the transmission filter when the transmission oil is changed, having to remove the pan to drain the oil is incentive to replace the filter at the same time.

Where do I top up manual transmission oil on a 1986 daihatsu charade turbo g11?

Do you want to top up the engine oil or the transmission oil? The transmission oil plug is on the top side of the transmission. You need to lift up the car to do this. Best thing is to bring it to a service station.

Which drain plug is the correct one on a 2004 toyota 4 rnner. There is one for the transmission and one for oil.I dont want to drain the wrong one

The oil drain plug is the one closest to the radiator, on the larger of the 2 metal pans. The oil drain plug is directly under the engine.

The transmission drain plug is on the smaller/thinner metal pan, it is directly under the transmission.

How to replace transmission oil

to replace the oil on your transmission is not that hard but as a auto technician I should advice you that if on any vehicle the transmission oil has never been changed and is a high millage vehicle by changing the oil the transmission can slip or go neutral you should take your vehicle to a transmission shop and have the oil changed there with special oil changing machine that would clean the transmission and converter while it replaces the old oil and if there's a risk on damaging the transmission then they will tell you before changing the oil on your transmission and if they change the oil and any problems should happen then they are responsible for your transmission but if you insist to change it your self by removing the oil pan on the transmission you let all the oil out some of these Japanese vehicles have a drain plug you can take the brain plug out then remove the oil pan once you remove the oil pan then you'll see the transmission filter with socket wrench using a 10 mm socket remove the filter and the same way replace it with the new filter don't over tork the screws tighten to 15 lb. then remove the old oil pan gasket and make sure by doing all this process everything is extra clean, clean out oil pan and replace gasket and install oil pan then after you finish pour in 3 qt. of good quality transmission oil then turn on engine and take the shifter to R then D and last N and with engine on check the level and add as needed good luck

Transmission oil

Yes the transmission fluid goes in the location of the dipstick. As for the yellow "oil", if you just recently got the car maybe the previous owner put engine oil in the tranny fluid receptor instead of the engine...it's been known to happen. As far as I know, tranny fluid should be red, even if water gets into it, it's still a pinkish color. Maybe better to drain it and replace it. Good luck.
