Whether 2 WD or 4 WD, you have brake shoes.
They cost about $58 for a set (both rear wheels) at Autozone.

The rear brakes are the same drum & brake shoe type.
Each rear wheel has a brake drum that rotates with the wheel. When the
brakes are applied, a brake shoe is forced into contact with the brake
drum to slow wheel rotation...........................sodeep
