The brake lamp switch is located on the brake pedal assembly under the dash. (See Diagram)
To move the vehicle, try this:
1. Turn the key to OFF. 2. Apply and hold the brake until the end of Step 4. 3. Shift the transmission to NEUTRAL (N). 4. Start the vehicle and then shift to the drive gear you want
if you want to put it into gear,turn the key forward(not crank)
look underneath by the brake pedel
there is a neutral safety switch(not break light switch)
depress it and you can shift into gear
Either you have a worn shift fork and fifth is not fully engaging or the synchro for that gear is worn Both are internal and if fork is worn I suggest you have synchro replaced as well..
Reverse is not sycronized, this means the gears have to stop to mess and not grind, two thing cause this, being to quick to slam into reverse after clutch is depressed, a problem with the clutch.
