99 isuzu rodeo check engine light is on. could this be the coause of the fuel sending unit
Since your car is newer than 1995, it has a standard OBD-II connector, and just about every auto parts place in the country (PepBoys/Checker/Advance/AutoZone, etc) will read the trouble code for free.
It certainly could be because of a fuel sending unit, but have them read the code for you and you'll get a plain english explanation of the trouble and what you'll have to do to fix the problem.
No...the fuel sending unit is not a computer driven item nor is it monitored in any way by the onboard computer system. Interface with scanner and retrieve code(s) associated with indicator lamp occurrance
