All these solutions are not for a 1995 Chevy truck so none of them are of any help.

Most alarm systems are equipped with a starter kill relay that disables the starter. Unless the alarm is installed wrong, it shouldn't effect the fuel system at all including the fuel pump.

Had a fuel pump installed and now the car wont start.

Check the following:
- Fuel pump pressure.
- Polarity.
- Fuel filter.
If the problem persists keep the starter motor engaged for 8 Seconds.
- Switch the ignition OFF.
- Pull up the error codes with diagnostic computer.

2001 Mercury Sable Intermittent Fuel Pump?

You are right that it could be either component, or something else electrical. The security system will kill the fuel system if the wrong key is used or the system is acting up.
A mechanic would check base fuel pressure with a gauge and also see if the pump is getting power from the relay when it fails to start.

If you remove the fuel pump fuse of relay you will stop the flow of fuel. A simple on/off switch installed on the hot wire going to the fuel pump will work.

It start and stop immediately

One of several issues will present this problem.
Bad fuel pump = check for fuel pressure and power to pump replace as nessassary
Plugged fuel filter = change fuel filter
Alarm system activated = disable or deactivate alarm
There are other possibilities but you need to start with these

My 2000 Oldsmobile Alero does not start. It cranks fine, has a new battery, new spark plugs, and I can hear the fuel pump working. I was thinking of checking the fuel filter next. Much help needed

check for a good spark first, if there is none look at ignition circuits its more likley this part,
it could also be the car alarm the immobiliser shutting of the ignition ""stops it getting nicked?"
try resetting the alarm if you take off pipe to carb and there is fule pumping out!!! fule filter is "ok" for starting up on!!! take care working with fule!

Clifford immobiliser unlocks doors, does not start car

Find where your fuel pump relay is and check for power there. Most alarm tech's and alarm system dis engages the fuel pump at there relay's.

Simple things to check is the fuse first then go for the relay and if everything there is working properly, it could be your alarm may have gone bad or your fuel pump it self.

Good luck and hope this helps
