The 1500 hd rated tow 10300 lb haul in bed 3129lb but the 4x4 tends to reduce tow capacity by about 200 to 400 lbs

CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUAL.TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.I HAVE SEEN THOSE TRUCKS PULLING CAMPERS.YOU NEED TO HOOK UP A AUXILIARY COOLER TO RADIATOR AND TRANSMISSION TO KEEP TRANSMISSION FROM OVER HEATING.WHEN TOWING PUT STRAIN ON TRANSMISSION CAUSE THEM TO OVER HEAT.

What is Max towing capacity for 99 petrol mazda bravo b2600. Can you tow 1 tonne without electric brakes?

Depends were you are, where I live any trailer with a ladened weight over 750 kgs requires brakes. Then when you do have brakes you are allowed to tow a trailer up to 1.5 times the weight of the tow vehicle.

Vehicle towing capacity chart

A Toyota Tundra can pull the space shuttle but stopping on a down grade is a different story. Towing capacities are base upon stability and pulling and stopping but should never exceed the cars weight. unless electric trailer brakes are used . but again if trailer would jack knife it will push your car into a tree without stopping because weight has overtaken control.

Pulling a rv trailer

Look at the Coachman build tag and see what the weight rating is on the trailer. If it is within the tow rating for the truck, you should not have much issue. If you are not able to connect to the trailer brakes, make sure to give adequate extra space for braking.

What is the recommended trailer towing weight (a suitable range would be ideal) for the F-150 4x4 Supercab XLT Triton, 5.4L EFI V8 Engine, with 17" wheels and 145" wheelbase?

Depending on the gear ratio of your vehicle you have a max capacity of 8,500 or 9,500lbs. Your ideal trailer weight for this vehicle I would say is between 5,000 and 8000lbs. For more info on towing Click here.

I need to know what the towing capacity is for my 2000 chevy silverado half ton is?

Tow capacity for that vehicle is about 10.000 lbs (adjusted for wear and age). This number reflects max tow capacity with good tires (proper rating and good condition) with all suspension components in good used condition. The capacity of your tow hitch must also match your load and assumes proper trailer weight distribution and tongue weight.
For best results, I also recommend that you use a good quality synthetic gear lube in the differential and synthetic fluid in the transmission, as well as a trans cooler if not so equipped.

What is the towing capacity of a 1987 Chevy Silverado R 10 with a 350 engine,700 R4 trany, and two wheel drive?

The 700 R4 is old and not worth towing for it will have problems sooner than later in the overdrive if used. If used do not use the overdrive when towing. 4500 pound capacity is the max weight

What is the maximum towing capacity for a 1987 chevy caprice brougham..? ( the 305 engine) Thanks!

With a 20 year old vehicle, the original towing capacity does not apply.
I'd set a limit of whatever the weight of your vehicle is as a safe number (if car weighs 3,200 lbs, tow weight is 3,200lbs Max.) Trailer weight is also determined by the capacity of the hitch.
Trailer loading should be at 60% of weight on hitch.
Don't forget...you need a fully functional cooling system, adequate (most times additional) transmission cooling, and good suspension (air shocks, variable load rear springs and fresh differential lube). If this is done, you may be able to add 20-30% more trailer weight.
One item often overlooked is that it really does not matter if you can pull a load...you need to be able to stop it. Make sure your brakes are in really good condition!!!
