Service Engine soon light is on. Just had a new radiator, mass air flow sensor,and gas tank put in 4 months ago as well as new gaskets and maybe a fuel injection pump but I have to check. My car will reverse fine but will not excel over 20 mph then the engine completely cuts out. When I try to restart it, it just sounds like it's going to die again. Any ideas as to what's wrong?
Ttry the coil packs I had the same problem. To find out pull one spark plug wire at a time and lay it on top of the coil pack were it was taken from and see if it is arching.

Dirty air filter of faulty air flow sensor are common causes of the problem.
Bottom line possible defective Mass airflow sensor and or O2 sensor in cylinder bank number two.

no codes came up when they hooked it to the machine. Had $2,000+ work done on it in the last 7 months and was ripped off the first place I took it too. Knid of broke at the moment so just trying to get some ideas first before I take it in again.
7 months ago I too it in because my engine was smoking. Took it to the shop and they said I had a cracked radiator, blew a gasket, that my coolant was leaking into my oil, and needed to replace some valves. After all that was fixed which came out to over $1000 i had another problem 4 months ago. The new problem occurred when I was running low on gas so I pulled over and filled the tank up all the way full then my car wouldn't start at all and the engine would barley rev. Turns out my fuel injection system went out out of the blue. A new gas tank was put in which was unclear to me, a new fuel pump I believe and fuel filter, another $1000. This new problem just started happening a week ago. I got a new mass airflow sensor 30 days ago because that was the only thing preventing it from passing inspection at the time. this car is giving me a headache.
no they did not but that was 4 months ago and my car was running perfectly fine up until a week ago. Has about 155,000 miles on it. I was putting about 200+ miles on it every day for two months straight 2 months ago.
check engine light comes on and off. Auto Zone is right up the street, last time I went it was suggested to put oil stabilizer in but that didn't do anything. Now my car won't even get up to 2 mph and when I tried to step on the gas it made an awful sound so I gave up on trying to make it anywhere.Could it be the timing belt?
all fixed. it was a clogged converter, part was $250
