Intermittent SRS light 1990 190e 2.6

My Mercedes Benz 190e has an SRS light problem. It is on most of the time but turns off intermittently while driving. Any ideas?

Check the seat belt wiring under your front seats, seat belt pre tensioners are related to the srs system and sometimes with seat adjustment these can become loose. The wires are mostly yellow in colour and if you check all connections are tight this may solve your problem

Are you also having problems with Idle speed, and ABS?

If so check th OVP (Over Voltage Protection) relay. There is a fuse on top of the OVP. if fuse has blown this may be your problem. Many items in your merc are routed through this single device.

How do I reset the front left SRS light in a 2008 Mercedes Benz

The only way to reset a SRS light is to fix the problem that is causing it to come on. Once the problem is fixed and the SRS module acknowledges a complete circuit, the light will go off automatically.

How to reset airbag for mercedes benz c220 1994

This can not be reset by conventional methods. This must be done through a scan tool. Usually only the dealer scan tool will communicate with the SRS module. If the SRS light is on you have other issues and they must be remedied before the light will go out. There is no way of knowing what the issue is without running codes with the scan tool.

Turn off check engine light 1992 mercedes benz 300e

The check engine light is on for a reason. You need to pull the error codes, and resolve all of the issues indicated. Then the light will go off.

If a condition were to happen, and be intermittent, the light would go out....But your description appears to have a fault condition detected. It is better and less expensive to fix the issue(s).
