The battery to my car was disconnected and replaced with a new one. Since replacing the car battery, my electric windows don't seem to work very well. I was told by someone that they need to be reprogrammed, which confuses me.
Does anyone know how to reprogram or resolved it some other way.
Thank you for your time in advance.

Hello Tony. Hold the Switch till the window is down. Hold the switch down for 4 seconds afterwards and it will reset. Do this will all the windows and the sunroof.
I had the identical problem to Tony; Justaskjoe's answer worked perfectly, with a slight variation. I held the switch down to drive the window to the fully open position, then held for a further 4 seconds. Then I had to drive the window to the top without letting the switch move to the one-shot position. If it moved to the one-shot, the solution didn't seem to work, and I had to start again. Did this for all the windows - excellent solution, thank you. Ken.

Hi justaskjoe,
Thank you for your kind help. I will try this out later on.

Just to let you all know that this also worked for me, although I had to try it a few times to get it just right. Overall what a weird system Mercedes have. I ask the question why we have to do this but I suppose it's do with their electronics within the car, but still weird or is this because we have to take it to the Mercedes dealer where they'll charge, ... the buggers.
