What is the bolt size for the serpentine adjuster pulley on a 1996 Crown vic Police interceptor? How do I get at that around the fan shroud and fan etc?

If you are trying to replace the pulley, best to remove fan (uses special tool available loan-a-tool) to gain access. Not sure, but i think the bolt is 15mm.

The police package interceptors had a common problem with the fans seizing up. There was a TSB ford released to correct the issue which called for the replacement of the electric fan assembly with an updated fan assembly.

I have two questions 2001 ford Crown Vic LS, Codes read: (p0720 output speed sensor circuit), & (p1131 lack of heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1 switch indicates lean)........Keep in mined that I...

The PCM is programed for the LS engine parameters and now that you have changed engines the signal from the new engine are out of parameters> Either see if you can get the PCM reprogrammed at a dealership or purchase a new PCM and program the chip with the police engine interceptor to the vehicle> you may also return to the place where you got the engine and purchase the PCM for the police vehicle.
