Cbridges2232,

Any luck with your keyless remote issue? I'm having the exact same problem with my Ford F150 CrewCab after car battery replacement.

Should not have happened,
For the Factory RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) have you tried reprogramming the key fobs to your truck. The procedure is in the owners manual ( need all of them at programming time ).
This is stored in NVR, and should not need to be done, but worth a try.

If this is an aftermarket Remote start / alarm, check the owners manual for t on battery replacement. Have seen some off brand with strange battery ( truck's battery that is ) replacement steps.

I have a 2001 Ford F-150 with the 5.4 litre engine in it. I changed the alternator and battery and now the anti-theft light is solid.

You need to thell the CU that you haven't stolen the vehicle by switching it off using your remote control.

I need the ignition key code for a 2007 ford f150 xl, and the dealer said it could only go back five years. Can I find it anywhere myself?

96 million codes for this year. Sorry, you have to pay the price and have it redone. Two keys and a reprogram. Also have to fix what is bad.

F150 alarm remote not working

Been down that road already with my 2002 Supercrew. My remote had become intermittent and also required several attempts. I tried a new battery first with no results. I replaced the key fob because the push buttons had become "mushy" anyway and it has been fine ever since. The buttons wear out if you use it as much as I do...

Program a new fob to my 2002 f150 supercrew lariat 5.4L remote lock/start system

if it is a ford remote or ford factory alarm remote cycle the key from off to run(usually 8 times) untill you hear door locks activate. at this exact time key needs to be in the on position.touch unlock or lock on all remotes being programmed and make sure door locks respond to remotes. then turn key off ending programming mode.then try your fobs they should work
