The max infaltion will be stamped on the tire itself, I would inflate to manufaturer spec., which will be on the drivers door or door frame on a little sticker. If it is not then it may be in the owners manual. If it can't be found in those places then go by whats on the tire (which will prob. be max 44 psi).

Recommend tire pressure in nexen 225 / 45 / 18

not knowing year make model and motor size it next to impossible, what you can do is open drivers door and look on edge of door or pilar where door latches and you will find tire inflation pressure. if that is the recommended tire for car or call your local firestone or goodyear tire dealer.

Goodyear tire pressure chart

the stock car , using stock tires, , the drivers door shows this.

if not stock tires and using other size tires.

that sticker is USELESS,

bingo, you are the engineer now.

and yes you need the factory tire datasheet and pressure loading charts.

for that ask at GooD year, you will need the EXACT tire, type , make, model and size,

each tire type is DIFFERENT.

if you dont do this and use too much pressure the tires WILL CROWN and skid. a danger to you and me on the road with you.

there are 2 ways, to do this.

  1. use the real table for your TIRE

  2. or the the foot print tests. (white chock the tread? trick ,ask)

best pressure is based on total weight on each tire.

that is a hard cold fact.

what you do is, inflate the tire so the foot print is flat

not crowned or cupped.

fact.

ASK the maker because they change tire designs like skirt lengths.

match what you have with the correct table.

ask GOODYEAR, direct.

i have it for my tires. on my jeep.

and my jap jeep.

2007 suburban dash is saying stability system disabled what does this mean ?

{: ) Check for excessive wear on any of the tires on the vehicle and then verify that all the tires are the same size, brand, and same model. It is also important to check and make sure the tire pressure is properly adjusted per the sticker on the door. The following examples listed below could cause this condition:
1. 2 tires on the vehicle are Goodyear P245/75R16 and the other 2 tires are Firestone P245/75R16
2. 2 Tires on the vehicle are brand new and the other two tires have excessive wear.
3. 2 Tires on the vehicle are Goodyear Wrangler SRA 265/70R17 and 2 tires are Goodyear Wrangler HP 265/70R17 (Same brand/different models)
4. Aftermarket Wheels and Tires (NON-OEM 20 inch wheels and tires)
5. Tire pressure is not properly adjusted.

What is the correct tire pressure for a 2009 Chevy Impala with Goodyear tires? was not on my papers

Look at the inside of the drivers front door. There will be a tire pressure inflation sticker. I do believe 30psi is normal for most newer GM "full size" cars.

What is the tire pressure for 2003 Toyota platz

Depens on what tires you have on it. Most are 35 psi max. Some goodyear are 44 psi. the Max pressure will be printed in small raised letters on the sidewall of the tire. If 35, then 30-32 rear and 32-35 front is good depending on your load( many large people with trunk loaded, or just yourself. Higher front pressure accomodates for engine weight. A higher pressure, 35 all around, will give a harsh ride. Fuel economy suffers with low pressure. A compressor to fill the tires with from a cigarette lighter is available with a guage for under $20 and is very handy to have in the trunk. It can allow you to make it to a repair shop if you develop a slow leak and to keep pressure proper for extended tire life. If squeeling around corners is heard it is a good indicator that pressure is low. Frequent checks with a guage is important because pressure can be significantly low and not be apparent even to a fairly trained eye, especially on low profile tires. Please rate answer.

Lexus ls430 2004 tire pressure indicator

Make sure you check the spare tire too; had this problem on another model and the dealer said it was the spare which is also monitored.  Good news in case you need it one day.
