Question about 1994 Plymouth Acclaim
The engine trouble light comes on after 10min of running. Will chug & sputter when climbing up hills as if very little gas was getting to the pistons. (This happens around a half hour of constant driving) I put the pedal to the floor when the chugging and sputtering is happening its seems to stop. But once i let off on the gas pedal the sputtering will start again. Then it will stop sputtering once the car is on level ground.

Check the fuel filter to see if it is plugged.
Remove the fuel filter, and blow air through it in the normal direction of fuel flow. You should be able to blow through it very easily. If it feels restricted, try blowing through it the opposite way, and if there is a lot of dirt coming out, you have found a common cause of this problem. Hope this helps.
