My 2002 Olds Alero the fan is loud and blows no heat
My 2002 Olds Alero sat for about 3 mos. now when I turn on the air, the fan makes a loud noise and no heat comes out. Is it clogged, and is there an easy way to un clog it?

more than likely it is just low on power steering fluid. system might have air in it now. so after fill power steering unit to proper level driver the car and check fluid level again. and add more if needed . I believe car should have motor running for when checking fluid, same as transmission.
Make sure that u get all the air out by turning the steering wheel from left to right.. And most important make sure the power steering fluid is for GM product.

Had same problem. Replace Blower Motor. Over a 100 dollars at local parts store, but found online for half price. About 30 minutes to replace. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php?carcode=1431961&parttype=6916 6 screws to remove glove box, One plastic nut on kick panel and 3 screws hold the blower to the air box.
