Are you saying the engine doe not have spark?Or the engine will not turn over?If the engine is turning over, but the engine does not have spark, then the crankshaft sensor may be the problem. Is there 12 volts at the starter at the time you turn the ignition on?With key on,the fuel pump, only receives voltage for about 2 seconds for it to start, then the relay will sense engine run,and stay on.So I ask you test the voltage at the exact same moment you turn the ignition to on.Use a test light. The fuel pump will light up for only about 2 seconds, then the test light will go off.If this is so,then the crankshaft sensor is most likely the problem. The no spark, and no injector pulse is a good sigh that this is so.If the fuel pump does not have any voltage on the moment you turn ignition on,then check all fuses, and fusible links,to see if they are blown. The fusible links will be on a positive post ,like bolt like stud. The battery cable will go directly to this junction(positive cable). It might even have a red cap on it.These fusible links look like wires, except, you can pull on them,if they are burned out,and they will pull apart like taffy.Replace them with only new ones purchased at the parts store, not regular ole primary wire, this can burn the vehicle down to the ground if there is a short.Ignition modules can cause this also.Along with a mass airflow sensor.A code reader might reveal this code for you,if you had one.So many things involved.Check the out put of the ignition switch,to make sure voltage is coming out,and to the ecm.Check all relays.A good way to do this,is to interchange the relays with the same numbers.Remember witch ones you change out,for further testing, and diagnoses.Do the dash gauges move, and all that in the cluster, when the key is turned on?If not, replace the ignition switch.I hope all this information is helpful.
I need to clarify something, when you say that your Durango 5.9 is not getting any fire do you mean there is no spark or is the engine not cranking over? Also when you turn your ignition key on without cranking over the engine the fuel pump will only cycle one or two seconds and then cut off.
SOURCE: I have a 99 Dodge Durango 5.9 that is not getting spark or fuel
The control module in the distributor that signals the coil to fire also signals the fuel pump to operate replace should cost around $50

I am not getting any spark and the fuel pump is not coming on at all when the key is turned on. It will turn over but will not start due to no spark or fuel.
I am also getting a (no bus) code on the odometer. The truck started stalling while driving but would start back then just would not start at all.
