Make sure coolant level is full. your heater core feeds off the top of the radiator so if the coolant is low you will not get heat. If coolant is full then check your heater hoses coming out from the fire wall (where connect to heater core). if both hoses are hot then the door on your air box may be stuck. look under passenger side dash should be able to see the air box. there will be a rod somewhere on the box that you can try to move manually. If one hose is hot and the other is cold then your heater core is clogged and will need to be replaced.

Why wont the heater blow out hot air in my 1995 pontiac bonneville. it will only blow cool air

If the heater hoses are getting hot, the problem may be a faulty blend door under the dash. The blend doors direct air thru the heater core and the vents.

The heating and air condition does not blow

start by checking all your fuses, next if fuses are good then check the blower motor resistor, these resistors go bad often, its located in engine compartment,on the rightside on blowermotor housing

hi,
i actually used to have a 1995 pontiac grand am that did the same thing....only difference was i didn't have to restart the car....usually what i would do was drop the car in neutral and gas the car and i'd notice my temp gauge go down and my heater gave heat.....chances are it's a sticky termostat. Hopefully that helped.

I have a 1996 Pontiac Bonneville SE V-6. My heat and air stopped working. When I drive down the road it will blow when it is on certain settings like defrost. The relay is good and the a/c and heat...

Back up. Who and why were there controls changed and did that fix one issue and now were on to another. Work with me here. If you go to a repair shop instead of doing your own repairs you expect to have ALL issues PROPERLY fixed. Do you have heat or a/c in any position?

Heat/AC blower not blowing air

heck the blower fan speed control resistor, it is located near the blower motor, they are cheap to replace and the most common cause of this issue

My 96 bonneville is blowing heat

sounds like the vacuum lines that direct the air over the evaporator is maulfactioning and let it blow air over the heater core all the time
