Sorry, at first glance, I was thinking that you might be able to pull it off. But, having given it some thought....
To answer your question simply, the tranny will not work as it is. To my recolection, the transmissions changed midway through the 1993 production period for the Grand Cherokee. Even the mounts in your 94 had changed from the 91.
Having said that, there may very well be a conversion kit or adapter kit available to make this possible. But, I'm not aware of one and, based on previous experiences, I would not think it would be cost-effective or easy.
