I have a 92 Camaro and the problem I'm having is sorta weird.. My car ran fine about 2 months ago, but i haven't driven it for about 2-3 months. When i went to fire it up the battery was dead, so I replaced it. The car was very very slow to turn over, but finally started.. after running about 30 seconds it sputtered and died.. Well after that it completely drained all power from the battery, atleast says my charger and the fact it wouldn't even turn off the battery.. So after several full charges and it doing the same thing, i went and baught another battery to see if maybe i was just unlucky.. Same thing, car slow to turn over, starts and runs for a 15-30 second period then dies.. It sometimes will let me give it one more crank, but on the second crank it will die almost immediatly after starting.. Any help would be appreciated.

SOUNDS LIKE YOU NEED BOTH THE ALTERNATOR AND THE STARTER TESTED.THE CAR SHOULD STAY RUNNING OFF THE ALTERNATOR ONCE BOOSTED,IT SHOULD START OFF THE BATTERY WHEN FULLY CHARGED.

I have a 92 camaro 3.1L v6 and its not firing. i changed the coil and distributor and it ran for 20 mins then died. any solutions?

Wrong. The 92 Camaro CORRECT firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6. Straight from Chilton's and the gm service manual.

I have a 1998 Camaro 3.6 V liter. The radio and electric windows would work on and off and now the car will randomly not start. If it sits for a few days, will start and run again and your are able to...

The only thing I can think of besides some serious electrical issues is your alternator. It sounds like a weird issue, but the alternator deals directly with giving your car power.

92 gmc c2500 turbo diesel. starts then dies after a few seconds.

Sounds like the Pump Mounted Injection Module.. Starts, dies, Starts dies... Not a fun fix.. but atleast it's just under the intake..

92 RS Camaro, Replaced battery and now car has no power?

are your battery post bolts clean and tight, my 89 rs ran fine untill i decided i wanted shiny new battery bolts, when i put them in and tightened them down my car had no power at all, i checked how tight they were, and they were TIGHT so i wiggled the black cable and re tightened it and bam my lights turned on, tryied starting it, and it started, sometimes you just gotta make sure the connection is really good, not just how tight it is, also check your ground wires, there are a few but the main 2 are located at the front pass side next to the batt, and on the back firewall going from the bottom pass head to the firewall, hope that helps, if not comment back
