I have a petrol golf cart wont start

Brian, If engine is of overhead valve type and engine turns over with plug out and will not crank when plug in or turns very slow, the problem is probable valve adjustment required or decompression release faulty on cam shaft. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

How to do valve adjustment 2002 escort 2.0 liter SOHC

The valves in this engine are a hydraulic design and require no adjustment nor is there any provision for adjustment in the design. If the valves are noisy then you have defective valve train moving parts, commonly on this engine that is the hydraulic followers (referred to as "Lifters" in older OHV engines).

Can i put a ohc in my exploere or do i have to stay with the ohv what is the dif

You would have to change engine, OHC-over head cam is the cam sets on top of the cylinder head, OHV-over head valve the cam sets in the center of the engine using pushrods to open/close the valves.

Doesn't the OHV engine have hydraulic lifters? If so there is no adjustment.

How to tell if engine is SOHC or DOHC

they didn't make a SOHC in this car, only a OHV 3.0 liter and a DOHC 3.0 Liter, the DOHC has wide flater valve covers than the OHV (overhead valve)

I need a picture of the spark plugs on a 1998 ford taurus numbered

I don't have a link with pictures, but I will describe the cylinder and coil numbers for both the overhead valve (OHV) and the overhead cam (OHC) as best I can.
Facing the engine from the front bumper.
On the 3.0 overhead valve (OHV) the cylinder location looks like this:
1 2 3
4 5 6

The coil location looks like this:
5 1
6 2
4 3

If you have the 3.0 overhead camshaft (OHC) engine again facing the engine from the front bumper your cylinder location looks like this:

1 2 3
4 5 6

Your coil location looks like this:

4 6 5
3 2 1

I hope this was helpful.
