I had the same problem and I'm embarassed by the fix:

Canceling the power back door system (vehicles with power back door) Page 61 in Owner's Manual
Turn the main switch to disable the power back door system (far lefthand side on lower dashboard.)
When in the Inoperative Setting, The back door cannot be operated even with the wireless remote control or power back
door switch.

Thank You. I'm embarrassed too. I never saw the button to turn it off. I must have hit it accidentally.

2013 Toyota Venza. Non powered rear hatch will not open. Push button and nothing happens but a click somewhere near knees of driver seat. I checked fuse and it's good.

In the Owner's Manual on page 56 it discusses the Back Door. Review that for info. What button are you pushing - inside the car or the remote keyless fob? Does it UNLOCK w/the keyless fob?

My Venza 2013 back door won't open. There's a beep from back opener when I pressed the remote.

Visit the on-line store, know as reliable-store, they have the repair manuals. I'm sure you will get the solution of your problem.

No Power to rear door

There is an off switch on the left side dash. This could be it. Make sure it is not pressed in. If it is ok. Remove switch and check power at this switch.

Rear door on 97 bravada can't be unlocked to open

No easy way to do this - you need to remove the inside door panel from inside the truck and manually release the lock. You didn't say where the wiring was burnt, but when the door is open test for power at the lock solenoid - if not there when unlock is pressed, inspect the wiring (particularly at the two rubber wire casings connecting the door to the frame). If it is there, the lock solenoid is stuck and may have to be replaced.

Ford F150 Pickup 2005 power doors unlock but will not lock

I had almost the identical problem on my 2005 F150 FX4 Extended cab last weekend. The power door locks would not lock using the keypad, remotes, or door buttons. Almost all other functions worked correctly. The doors unlocked, the radio delay functioned, and the interior lights dimmed. When I used the remote the horn would beep twice indicating that a door was open even there was no message on the message center that a door was open. When I used the keypad or remote, I could hear a soft click from behind the seat. I think it was coming from the body security module or body security module - whatever Ford is calling it this year. I pulled the fuse for the Power Door Locks(BSM). As I removed it, I heard a soft click - sort of like a relay resetting. It may have come from the VSM/BSM. It may have possibly been a stuck actuator releasing. I don't think so. It wasn't that load. In any case, everything is functioning correctly now.
