Slave cylinder is bleeding off 02 dodge Dakota sxt

It could be. Does either one drip? If not you might the Master Cylinder of the Clutch may be the only one to be in the need to replace. But it is a better choice to replace both. Some of the slave cylinders are a donut type that is built into the throw out bearing. That is a chore.

No clutch pedal has new master cylinder & slave cylinder still no pedal.

You have air in your hydraulic line. Needs bleeding. If it uses one,
make sure that you used a new crush washer where the line attaches to the slave. Tie a rope around the pedal and use that to pull it back out after pressing down. Makes the process a bit easier on your assistant.

1991 doge dakota

Too tight.....the the torque for the 4 banger is 72 in lbs

the 6 cylinder is only 80 in lbs.

Any tighter and you start to squeeze the gaskets to where they will leak.
