Have the oil changed as it is wrong viscosity oil. It should be 20w -40 or 15w 30. Mixing synthetic and mineral oils is not a good idea as the bases are different and may cause engine problems. Most service departments use mineral oil as synthetic oil is too dear for a normal service and the customer would complain about the price.. Synthetic oil has no real advantage over mineral oil unless you are rallying or racing but in normal driving it is an expensive waste as you have to change the oil at least every 10.000klms to remove the wasted additives the hold water ,carbon, and other combustion by products in suspension to be removed when the oil is drained out.
This is a maintenance light and is reset by depressing thetrip odometer reset button fir 30 sec. and turning the ignition jey to the on position light will blink and then turn off.
Could be a blend door problem. You would need fresh air from the outside to keep the windows from fogging up. If the blend door that controls outside air gets stuck or fails to open, you may not get fresh air. The ac compressor would also need to run every few minutes to dry the air hitting the windshield.
check level after adding 4.5qts and running engine until the oil pressure light goes out (about 30 sec) then top off with another half a qt if low on the dipstick please rate
the car is telling you that the oil needs to be changed/ the milage has reached the limit for needing to be changed. even if you have changed the oil it will still warn you after 7500 miles to change the oil. To make the light go off, press and hold the knob the resets your milage for 15 secs then turn the key to the on position(dont start the car) then continue to hold the knob in for about 30 secs, release, turn the car off, wait 5 secs, turn car to on position, then back off the start the car it should clear the maintence light.
your mechanic has only given you part of a possible solution...lock the car with the key and hold over for 30 secs then take key out, wait 30 secs then unlock/hold key over for 30 secs, the windows may go down. then use the remote to lock car holding down the button for 30 secs..... this resets the system
Turn the ignition to the on position so dash lights come on, but do not start. Now pump the accelerator pedal three times quickly. The light will go off for another 3,000 miles
code 0010--camshaft position actuator circuit bank 1-- check for a faulty oil control valve(ocv)** short in ocv/solenoid valve**open short v v t/vct circuit
this ia a false reading just go bye the dip stick reading then unhook your neg battery cable for 30 sec then reconnect 10mm socket or wrench should fit this will clear the code if your light come back on and the oil is low again in a short period of time get it looked at
