The engine take about 5 to 10 times of turning the key and giving it gas (the proccess takes about 20 minutes) before it will run with out cutting off then when it is put in drive it will typically cut off. cap rotor bad timing it might run off the temp sensor no codes on this model you need to turn ign key on off 3 times and the last time leave key on engine off count the flashes on the dash you should have 1flash then 2 flash then the codes after done will flash 3 flash 3flash

No way to tell without looking at it and taking measurements.
It may be cheaper to replace the doors than to spend the time on repairs.

1992-1994 are virtually identical, but 1987-91 are pretty close as well. 1995-96(7)

if the frame isnt rusted out to the point of failure, I would just replace the body panels, and cab. cabs from 87-96 are close enough to swap pretty easily, 1980-86 will work too with a little more work. beds 1987-96(7) are identical, 1980-86 will bolt up, but wheelwells are styled different. fenders doors ect are easily available from body shop supply or lmctruck.com

Yes you will need to change the adapter fron the 86 to the 84 transfercase its a simple bolt on part

the wires in the rubber boot or the push in connection ,its connects the door to the car body

1984 thru 1986 same body and frame..

try installing an aftermarket electric fuel pump. vaporlock problem on an 86 Ramcharger went away. 360 engine w/4 bbl.
