Dust inside engine and clogging sensor. Got a six week old car that has been into the shop twice for "dust in the engine". When oil mixes with dirt, it hits the sensor. Car stalled and bucked and lunged. Anyone else have the problem? This is my first Chevy - and believe me, I will not buy another. How does this effect the engine down the road. Will it still have problems down the road?
Dust what kind of sensor is this, never heard of such a problem, there no sensor that should hit dust and oil, maybe your talking about a mass air flow sensor, if so that a bad call on the shop to tell you that, maf sensor does get dirty, but they must of put on a defective one, it would take at least a year or two to recollect dirt, the air is filtered with air filter. they should just tell the truth, they got a bad part, goodluck.why scare people with lies, if it the mass air flow sensor.
