I have a 2013 Vauxhall with a speed limiter set at actual 66mph, 71mph on dash. ECU or something plugged in somewhere? I have looked but not had dash apart yet. Thanks!

a speed limiter will not act as a brake going down hill
it is a simple rpm limiter in conjunction with a road speed set parameter
So it will be part of the ECM management system

Ford 3.2 diesel acceleration drop off to an idle speed when pulling hill in M1 gear - I stop vehicle on hill shift to park and back to M1 it throttles as nothing wrong. later does this again.

the rpm limiter will pull back the rpm to limp mode
select low range 1st gear or if automatic select manual 1st gear That will allow higher rpm at low speed

My 2010 aveo acts like it's surging or like your giving it more gas than you really are but it only does it going up a hill .Does anyone have an answer

A/c running when going up hill? This could do it. The PCM kicks up the RPM's when the A/C cycles on and off. You just don't notice it as much on a flat surface. A couple other things would be a dirty throttle body and idle air control motor.

What's the easiest way to change the spark plugs and my gas gauge bounces around alot it goes from full to empty. my 4wheel drive wont engage either

jack it up, use jack stands. take off the front wheels, and go in through the wheel well to get to the spark plugs. Gas gauges on every blazer is freaking crazy. mine acts up when it`s at a 1/4 tank. Park up hill it shows more, park down hill, it shows empty.

To much trouble to replace, unless you have the time and money to replce the sending unit.

Will not run over about 25-30 mph and even when it is parked you cant rev the motor over 2900 rpm

Check fuel filter/pump and plugs/cap/rotor/ Also worse case scenario the ecu may need reflashing..

sounds like the transmission is not shiffting properly which could be a speed sensor. First thing to do is check your fluid level and make sure its not low that could cause it also. Do not overfill that is as harmful as being too low.

It just slowed down going up hill came to stop along side road engine still running give gas in gear would not go put in park rev up engine only go two 2.5 rpm tryed this 4to5 times then it went to 4000...

Check maf sensor this will cause this, it is in air hose from air filter. also make sure filter is clean. (manifold air flow). go to any auto parts store and buy a can of maf sensor spray to clean sensor. follow directions on can. I just cleaned mine and it goes up hills and grades much better. if its not this sensor check the plugs and wires for proper spark under load.

Check the exhaust flow coming out of the tail pipe.The catalitic converter could be cloged. Also renew the fuel filter every 35000 miles.
