Sounds like your serpentine belt. I would check the condition of your belt on the engine. It is possible that you could also have power steering pump issues. Check belt condition first, Second if the belt is not glazed and looks ok remove the belt and check movement on power steering pump pulley to see what what type of resistence is presen while turning pulley. If so, pump should be replaced. This could be causing belt to slip and make the squeeling that you are hearing. If no resistence on pump replace belt and varify repair. Good luck.....

2005 saturn vue, have rubbing sound when turning steering wheel at low speeds, occurs when backing up or going foward

I would start by inspecting the tire and wheel well for any physical contact. Outside of that, is sounds like a wheel bearing. A failing wheel bearing or a bearing with a flat spot will groan and sometimes mimic the sound of mud tires. A flat spot can be causes by even a slight impact the the wheel.

My saturn 2003 vue is real hard to steer what is the problem

have you checked the power steering belt to make sure it's on? also suugest you check the power steering fluid under the hood. is it leaking any fluid that would point to a badpump or busted hose? if it's none of these, suggest that the steering rack is bad. i hope this helps!!!

In my 2003 Saturn Vue, whenenver I turn the wheel left or right I hear a squeaking nose coming from the wheel (inside of the car) what could this be?

moz-screenshot.jpgThere is a TSB for your complaint from Saturn: Here's the jist of it.

Condition: Some customers may comment on a squeak or squeal noise coming from the base of the steering column while turning vehicle.
Cause: The squeak or squeal noise may be caused by insufficient lubrication of the intermediate steering shaft-to rubberboot- contact area.
you may be able to get it warrantied through saturn. this is the TSB #

When turning the steering wheel of my 2003 Saturn Vue, it makes a gutteral noise from the steering column. It is like a bullfrog croaking as long as the wheel is being turned and returned.

mine did the same thing. Where the steering column goes through the firewall (floor) there is a rubber seal. That seal has gotten dry. Apply a small amount of lube where the shaft goes through and turn the steering wheel. This helped eliminate my squeal.

Old car noise or trouble?

i have seen a lot of cars make noise when you turn the wheel all the way one way or the other and usually it is either the upper or lower ball joint. it will be louder when its really cold. i would jack the car up and see if there is any play in the ball joints.
