Question about 1994 Isuzu Trooper
My Isuzu bighorn automatic transmission slips after heating.it onlyhappens after a long drive them it start to slip.when you stop and turnoff the engine for a few seconds then turn on,it becomes ok!i need asolution.my engine is a v6
When it slips it cant move even if you rave up the engine or even you you put in D1,D2,L...?

Not check levels first.
and cable damage? (linkages)
get it serviced,
try a full flush and fill, (with machine) and a new filter.
is engine overheating
pulling huge loads, , in car or trailer.
going up huge mountains on a hot day? what
or just buying milk at 7/11 ?
answer with full context of a trip, like how far and out door temps
and elevation, and if hills, and what not.

Just put an external transmision oil cooler infront of the radiator.The standard cooler runs in the radiator @ 80-130 degrees celcius,NO GOOD oil gets to hot and it also raises the heat-gauge, engine runs to hot. Problem solved. Happy driving.
