Will replacing car battery in saab 93 sportswagon 1.9 tid 2006, effect the remote key fob. I am getting a "Battery not charging" on the SID. Battery indicator eye is clear , is this LOW battery? Was going to replace battery but not sure if this will stop the remote key from working. Any ideas what to do?

have the battery load tested for a dead cell as that may be all the problems. After fitting a new battery reset the CPU with a code reader to off set any new problems

2004 saab 9-5 remote CIM module

receiver is hidden away inside the dashboard. it could be the fob is weak or you have something interfering with the fob signals, even a fob going faulty can interfere with its own signal, if you have a spare fob try the difference with that one. if you don't have a spare its best to get one as it may come in handy, it will need programing to the vehicle but it will take up 6 fobs.

Saab 93 1.9 tid warning battery not charging car died whilst driving charged battery at home car now starting lights all out is this battery prob or alternator?

The easiest way to check is with the car running, disconnect the positve side of the battery, if the car dies, then it is the altenator, if the car keeps running then it is the battery. If you have a volt ohm meter, check the chrge going to the battery you should get between 12 and 14 volts if it is lower than 12 you have an altenator issue. the altenator should always produce enough to charge the battery and run the car at the same time, if not then the battery wears down.

My 2004 saab s3's remote key wont unlock my car

Two possible solutions for you
1- Change the battery in the key fob, if this battery is over a year old then it might be time. If this doesn't work then
2- Take the car into a Saab dealer and have the receiver reprogrammed. They do on occasion get misaligned and end up locking out the remote or remotes depending on how many you have.
Hope this helps.

I have a Saab 93 TID (2005 Vector) KEYFOB PROBLEM!

I suspect you have a problem in the security system receiver module, which in most cars must be programmed by the dealer.

Hi,
battery is in the right position?/can you lock/anlock the car?/did you synchronize the remote?/did SID show you a information about imobilizer status or alarm?/with 2º remote/key can start engine?
Programming remote/key maybe is needed,to do it you need TECH2 and have hall the keys at the time to programming remote/key
