I have a 1994 Toyota Tercel. Up until this week I have been able to start it, but the key would not come out of the ignition. Now, the key comes out, but when I try to start it, I just hear a click. The engine doesn't even crank. Is it possible that they key lock cylinder which I am assuming was causing the key to not come out, is now my problem for it not starting?

Sounds like a bad starter if its clicking but first make sure battery and battery connections are good if they are then starter is your problem.

1994 tercel overheated now wont start

I answered this with a lengthy explanation.. about blowing your head gasket do not run a car when it over heats it will cost you a engine.. wait until it cools down to add water and most likely you need a new thermostat or you already have a blown head gasket .. this is much cheaper then an engine do not drive car when HOT.

Heat in my 94 Toyota Tercel has a problem and so does the ignition.

warm your car up to temperture. Grab the upper rediator hose. Is it warm or cool. If its cool your thermosat is stuck closed and thats why you have no heat. If that works fine I would look at your heater core next.
