Should just be 4 bolts holding the seat to the floor, and unplug the wires. Only way to fix it is weld it, or get a different base from an auto wrecker.

Drivers side windshield wiper won't move on my

Hello, There is a clip on the wiper motor which keeps the wiper rods on the motor. There is also an attachment for the other end of this rod on the backside of the wiper arm.

You need to grab the broken drivers wiper to see if the wiper rod is still attached to the wiper fixture just beneath the sheet metal where it is vented. You should be able to see the arms or rods through these slots in the sheet metal. This sheet metal is called a Cowling.

If the arm or rod moves on the drivers side when you shake the drivers wiper blade assembly, then the arm is attached underneath the Cowling and the small clip probably fell off of the other end of the arm/rod. It can be as simple as removing the wiper motor and replacing the clip.

You can not count on finding the original part. You would need to try an Autoparts store or the Dealer for the part.

If you do not want to fool with this yourself, you can go to a specialty Autoglass installer who should be able to service this and may have the part in stock. Some Autoglass shops even make Housecalls to a residence or business.

I always suggest that if you want to fix it yourself, some Auto Salvage yards let you pull the parts yourself. This is a great learning experience as you have an opportunity to break someone elses vehicle instead of your own. Then you can remove what you need and see how to do it.

I hope my solution is helpful to you.

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The driver side brake light does not work when the headlights are on. It does work when the headlights are off. The passenger side works fine during both.

Sounds like a bad earth connection in the light fitting.
First, Check how well the metal base of the globe fits into the socket. If it is a bit loose remove the globe , squeeze the sides of the metal socket with some pliers so that the globe fits snugly in the socket. If it is still not working correctly check where the earth wire from the Light Assembly is attached to the body. Remove. clean and re-attach securely if necesary.

The wiper arm came off of my 2004 pontiac grand am. how would i put it back on?

If it's the blade arm it's generally always best to replace it new and will come with new fasteners.

If it's the assembly arm itself depending upon how it was broken off you may need to replace assembly the arm from the stem complete with new / serviceable used bracket.

REPLACIND DRIVER SIDE WINDOW REGULATOR

Pull out window crank and door handle, remove panel, remove plastic Nylon that's between metal and panel, crank the window down enough to see the arm and the part that connects with glass. Make sure the metal part inside the door that comes from an arm and attaches to glass is clean, from broken glass and the gap that attaches to window is clean, bend the new glass to make it fit inside the opening slide down the new glass from the top using opening guides, grave it from both sides standing in between and make land on top center of the part that graves the glass, put automotive glass silicone on center of that part, just at where graves the glass, let dry, put the plastic back the door panel the window crank with the "U" shaped lock washer and the door handle, I hope I was clear
