Got 200 dodge caravan passenger power window switch is broke will that still prevent the driver control from operating the passenger window

Problem is more then likely the TIPM - totally integrated power module . A circuit breaker supplys battery voltage to the driver an passenger door switches ,not a fuse . Or broke wires inside the rubber boot from the body to the doors . Or communication problem maybe . Your best bet have a qualified repair shop check it out . (not dealer )

ck the wire harness in the drivers door jam ,you will have to pull back the rubber boot sometimes the wires brake there from repeted open and closeing of the door,if there ok ck. for power at the motor when operating the switch

A electronic control module . passenger door module . I would check for a broke wire inside the flex boot from the body to passenger door .

look inside the rubber boot between the door and the door jamb wires break on both side inside the boot

check the fuses first then if your mechanical enough check the drivers door control switch as the passenger door switch is powered through the drivers door switch.

Probably motor and regulator, if you tried both switches on driver and passenger side suspect both window motor and regulator on passenger side sometimes while pressing the switch on the passenger side bang on the door panel inside and sometimes it may move if it does then suspect only the window motor.

Try switching the power window switch from the passenger side to the drivers side. Before you do that try with the switch on the up position, wiggle it from side to side. The contacts may be worn and by wiggling it may make contact. Other then that try to park it in side or garbage bag taped to keep rain out till you get it to the shop.
Hint, take it to a Auto window repair shop to replace the switch if it's bad or if the motor is bad. They have more experience to removing the door panels and removing the power window regulator (motor) if that needs to be replaced.

Find yourself wiring diagrams an test the electrical circuits . Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? How to take the door panels off an check power an ground circuits to the switches ? If not , your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair shop. You probably don't know what serial data network is ?
The B+ power for the door locks & power windows comes from a circuit breaker ,not a fuse . Circuit breakers very really fail .
You probably have broken wire inside the rubber flex boot from the body to the driver door .

U will need to lube the window glass guides, to do this u will need a can of Silicone spray lube, if this doesn't clear the problem u will need to replace the window motor..
