I need a diagram for a 95 jeep grand cherokee laredo power steering pump and how to replace. It is leaking aroung the bolt they you use to tighten the steering. there is a hose that goes from the pump to a small box, and somewhere around the small box and that bolt it is leaking fluid.
Carefully wipe down the area where you suspect the leak is and get a good visual on the exact source. your problem may be a hose and not the bolt you suspect.Carefully wipe down the area where you suspect the leak is and get a good visual on the exact source. your problem may be a hose and not the bolt you suspect.

The size of the bolts that go on the starter of a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo will depend on the model of starter you are using. In general, most starters use bolts that are M6, M8, or M10 in size.
To determine the size of the bolts you need, you will need to refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your particular starter. You can usually find this information in the documentation that came with the starter, or by contacting the manufacturer.
It is also important to note that the starter bolts may not be the same size as the original bolts that came with the vehicle. If you are replacing the starter, make sure to use the correct size bolts as specified by the manufacturer of the starter. Using the wrong size bolts could result in damage to the starter or the vehicle.
Loosen the power steering pump rear mounting
bolts, pivot bolt and lock nut and then loosen the power steering pump
adjusting bolt. Slip the belt on and tighten the
adjusting bolt until you can push the belt in about one inch midway
between the A/C and alternator pulleys. Then tighten the lock nut,
pivot bolt and mounting bolts and that's it.
It helps to diagrams to go with the instructions. Get yourself factory service manual, promanuals.net has them for around 20$ or so.
For a 94 Jeep grand cherokee, the tension is controlled through a long bolt on the power steering bracket. The bolt is about 6 inches long, located underneath the power steering on the driver side. Lossen the lockbolt holding it in place, as well as the Power steering attach bolts, and turn the long bolt to tighten/loosen. I believe these are all 13 mm bolts.
the 4.0 didn't come with a spring type tensioner if look under the p/s pump there is a jack bolt hooked to a idler pully loosen nut on front of pully and lossen up the jack bolt till you can get the belt off
Check with the junkyard where you got the pump...you may need to change the pump bracket with the pump, or use a different pump. You don't have a separate tensioner the pump is on a slide mount and is the tensioner (why the parts guy is a parts guy not a tech).
If you have any questions feel free to ask. Let me know if you dont get diagrams(happens sometimes)
