You can reset most computers by unhooking the battery for a few minutes. I usually leave them for an hour over lunch break.

If you do the above and take your vehicle for an emmision test, it will fail! The computer is "not ready". There is a certain number of miles that must be driven under various driving conditions and may requirea certain amount of "off" time depending on the vehicle. I haven't been able to find and definative information anywhere.

8 bolts...4 on each side witht he frame rails. 3 screws inside fuel filler door.
from underneath...back by the driver side tailiht area you should see a wiring juntion block with i believe 3 connectors...disconnect those. you may also have to loosen or remove the rear bumper for the lower part of the bed to clear. then all u gotta do is gently and evenly lift it off9 with assistants mind you(extra bodies)

2007 Chevy Silverado Classic. Location of oil sending unit please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

If you have a 4.3 or 5.7 Litre engine (Silverado Classic Body Style), it is mounted on the back of the intake manifold in a brass fitting just under where the fuel lines come up from the transmission bell housing.

2007 Chevy Silverado. Why after sitting three months vehicle has no power to doors or ignition switch, and fails to start with new battery installed?

Check for rodent damage. Do head lights or horn work (no key necessary) ?

If neither the headlights nor the horn are working then the BCM is not functioning. Check BCM fuses (more than one).

Chevy silverado where is the horn relay

It depends if it is a classic or new style Silverado. Both were made in 2007. If it is a classic Silveradothere is a replaceable relay in the under hood fuse block. If it is a new style Silverado the horn relay is part of the printed circuit board that is only available with UBEC (under hood bussed electrical center).

2007 Chevy Silverado oil pressure gauge fluxuating, setting off computer on dash reading "engine oil low" also warning bell sounds. Thanks!

If you are lucky , replacing the oil pressure sender unit will solve the problem. Your truck might have perfectly good oil pressure , but a bad sensor. OR you might actually have low oil pressure , which is not good , and will be expensive to fix. Good luck.
