It appears you have a poor battery cable ground connection. Remove the cable from the baterry ans lean the bat connection thoroughly. If this is a side post, put a ble in the terminal threads and see if the terminal is loose. If it is, The terminal is broken loose inside and the battery needs replacing. Good Luck, Ned

Can I install a push button start on my 94 c1500 suburban?

Sure can. cut the yellow wire off the ignition switch under the dash. Run a fused wire (40 Amp is good) from the battery to the push button. Put the yellow wire to the push button. Beware though, you are bypassing the neutral safety switch. It will crank anytime you push the button.

Jeep YJ stalls while clutch is depressed

thrust bearings are bad and the flywheel is moving out of range of the crankshaft sensor, or the crankshaft sensor is sitting too close to the flywheel.

Changed my battery and the cable ends and now my 94 ford ranger will not start. It makes a click noise and nothing else. I tried tapping on the starter and it still will not start.

SO, would it crank before you changed the cables and battery? When you arc the solenoid does the starter actually crank?

96 monte Carlo has good batt. but will not crank, no clicking, no noises at all

Probably going to be your ignition. Its the litytle box under your steering column with all the wires running to it. Check the fuses 1st to rule out the REAL easy fix but I'd put my $ on the ignition. Hope I could help. Good luck

Changed starter on the Van however it still won't start. Battery is charged and when you turn the key on it clicks once. Is there a relay switch or something between the battery/Key/starter?

You have a starter relay that could be bad, follow your + cable from the battery, it should lead to a small relay that looks like what is on a riding mower. If this gets cracked on the inside or the contacts are bad, this will prevent starting and a clicking sound will occur. If it's broke completely, it won't click.

1990 Yj Jeep Wrangler

Is it cranking the engine ?? If not then something is wrong the connection to the starter.Look for a bad connection to the starter. It could also be the starter solenoid. The best advise i can give you is to get it scanned for an error code for free at many parts stores. all youhave to do is ask if they do that.I know they do it at Autozone.
