1999 Ford Expedition - fuel pump not working after replaced alter

1999 Ford Expedition - Lights blinked and car cut off. Determined the alternator needed to be replaced. Replaced alternator and checked battery was still good. Car will turn over but does not get gas. The fuel pump is not working. Checked the fuse under hood, checked fuel pump safety switch and disconnected battery again for period of time to reset computer. Fuel Pump still not working. Any ideas?

1999 ford expedition engine misfire at low speed and deceleration have replaced bad coil over plug asembly

Is the check engine light flashing? Have you determined the cylinder is getting fuel and the injector is ok? Does the cylinder have good compression? Is there any intake vacuum leak? Are any other fault codes present when you run a fault code test?

I have 1999 ford expedition and the alternator is overcharging and all lights are blinking

Have the battery tested and if its good check fuses. If its not that its a wiring issue.

I was driving and hit a bump and as soon as I hit it my 1999 expedition stalled And all the lights flashed and the radio died. Now it won't start, lights and stereo come on though.

Check the fuel pump cut off switch, may need reseting. On the right side up in the corner of the foot well were the carpet ends.
Some are behind that kick panel, they have a button on the top that you need to press to reset.

What is the problem the engine cranking but can't start?

No fuel - fuel pump failing or fuse to the pump open, fuel safety cut off / inertia switch has been operated (in a collision recently?), ignition electrics trouble (no spark at plug), computer issues..

My 1999 eddie bauer ford expedition 5.4 dies out @ stoplights changed fuel filter?

There could be many reasons for it stalling out at lights. The first things I would check is the battery and alternator. The auto parts stores will check both for free.

My ford tarus/1999 'serve engine"

The blinking engine light indicates your problems are severe and could cause more damage to the engine if not corrected. You will need to have a diagnostic scan run to retrieve the trouble codes that are causing the light to come on & flash. From those codes, repairs needed can be determined.
I hope this helps.

I have a 1999 ford expedition it would not start but once i put the jumper cables on it or a battery charger on it over night it starts.once you drive it awhile it will be hard to star as if its starving...

It's the battery. Hence why it starts when you charge or jump it. Snag a new battery and don't forget to bring your old one to avoid a core charge.

I need to know what fuse that powers the fuel pump in my 1999 ford expedition it has a 5.4 va 4 wheel drive

OK, there are fuses on the driver's side down below.

But, if you are having a fuel pump problem, it's likely that the fuse is alright and you need to replace the fuel pump. Same thing happened to our 1999 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It quit working. And the inertia fuel cutoff switch didn't help, either (flipping or pushing it).

So, if you have no fuel coming, it may very well be the fuel pump.

We changed ours around 112000mi.
