Trying to find a oil filter for my comfort pro unit. The part number is 96-101-33k the old filter has no numbers on it to cross reference at parts store. Does anyone know what filter it takes?

baldwin filter B7139 replaces carrier number 96-101-33k ( P-96-101-33K)
If you do have a Balwin supplier handy then that number will cross reference to other makes
It is not a special filter as can be seen by going google and typing in---oil filter part number 96-101-33k
there are lots of pages with replacement part numbers and what they fit

Is the cross member under the load

cross members are the chassis members that tie the side frame rails together. There will be one at the front and another at the centre of the chassis and one at the rear . There is a bolt in cross member at the rear of the gear box (rear engine mount). Most modern cars are uni-construction (that is the body is complete and the front section will have a front cross member and the sub-frame rails will be bolted under the body around the front door pillars and onto the fire wall.. IN heavy vehicles there is a front cross member the carries the front engine mount another after the gear box to carry the cabin mounts and then a member every 3-4 feet to the end of the chassis rails . Their only purpose is to tie the chassis rails together.

I hit a ditch today and my car is know having a problem with the steering and does not turn fluently and feels rough like if it had no fluid and when i looked on the bottom it looks a little bent,on the...

If the alignment of the car was changed as it had encountered a damage then the steering and suspension will need a serious corrrection.
Since you have noticed that there was a bend on the chassis or the steering joints it must be looked into in detail as this is critical for the proper functioning of the car.
The steering alignment with the suspension must be checked to confirm the change of the chassis.
Correction of the chassis and then the suspension must be done with alignment check... the toe-in and tow out with the balance rod settings must be checked.

How do you loosen starter motor to change the fan belt

There is not starter motor located in the fan belt location. you probably refer to the alternator. There are 2 bolts to hold the alternator to the chassis bracket. Loosen both of them, one for pivot and the other for belt adjuster. When you can wigle the alternator then you can take the belt off. Good luck.

Size rubber band gmc jimmy bortec 6 cyl model 1996 motor 4.3

Oh No!!!! theyre using rubber bands as a fuel alternative? Was afraid they would get to that sooner or later!!!
Seriously, even without the numbers, if you are referring to the serpentine drive belt, every parts house has the # in a source book...all you need to tell them is the engine size and power options (steering, a/c etc) and they can give you what you need!!! The belt number varies with manufacturer, so even if you had it, they would need to look it up to cross reference it to whatever brand they sell.
