Mercedes vito heater not working have checked all the fuses and they seem to be ok, it does not work on any setting at all, it was working then it was working now and again now it has ceased altogether can you give any advice as the steamy window is no fu, sorry if the product type was wrong but I couldnt find an option for vito vans in the categories

Where is the heater resistor on my merc vito 2002?

Look for an inline set of wires near the blower motor. The resistor is in the air plenum to keep it cool. It is held in with a couple screws typically. If the fan works on high not not other speeds, then it is the resistor. This video shows where to look. Have replaced on a Nissan but not Mercedes. Mercedes vito heater fan replacement

2007 Vito 115 heater only works now and again.

you have a air pocket in your line if you have done any work to heater or replaced water pump there is a pocket of air in it let me guess you have heat when you give it gas but when stopped no heat system needs bled to get air out

Check the mechanical brake light switch under the dash and mounted near the brake pedal it operates directly from the brake pedal arm and is a twistlock fitting

it should be underneath the ddashboard or in the drivers door panel there should be a little panel you can pull off

Fuse has blown out. Check the fuse box under the steering wheel. The plastic cover has the diagram on the back, to see which fuse is for the electric windows.

if you find the main fuse box look down about 8 inches and you'll see a little black box take off the top and its the blue fuse

Heater blower on sprinter van not working ,i need to locate the problem point .has been going off intermitently for some time

email this guy at [email protected] he sells the carbon brushes new at only 5.99 a pair! Its fantastic and they work a treat. Why pay £300 when it will cost 5.99 to buy a new set of carbon brushes!!

Change the brushes in the heater motor.

Common fault on Merc Vitos and sprinters.

Brushes are on ebay. Search for "heater brushes"
