1996 grand am 3.1 wet floor on drivers side?

    it is a channel for drain under floor it collects water and doesn't drain so water comes up into car and soaks floor board. I know it sounds weird but yes actually the water comes up into the car. you need to drill a hole under the car to allow drainage in the channel.

Either your AC drain is clogged or the heater core is failing. Does your heat work well and blow hot air? If so, it's likely a clogged AC drain (although a bad heater core could be the issue). If it does not, your heater core is shot (replacement involves removal of the dashboard).

Sounds like you may have a issue with the heater core its located under the dash and when they leak crack they have to be replaced they leak on to the floor and cause you to loose your heat

It should be under the vehicle on the drivers side. Follow the fuel line under the car and you should see it mounted up agains the floor pan.

A/C water in floor

Drain is on pass side under hood on firewall, You have to access it from underneath. Use a coat hanger yo clean it out, Keep in mind when it opens your likely to get very wet... Good luck
