Turn signals don't work in 2004 honda civic lx. Checked hazard light connection (found small bulb broken but that isn't essential) checked both fuses (underhood and interior) both are fine and work, can't locate the turn signal relay though. Where is it?

2. Checked the tail turn signal by swapping passenger and driver bulbs. (bulbs twist out). At least the rear bulbs were OK. The wiring seemed intact, with no water leaks, etc.
3. Tested the circuit by removing flasher relay. Inserted a jumper wire between the 2 and 6 locations (Thanks to the message in this thread). The front, rear and dash turn lights all checked OK.
4. Replaced the relay - Honda part 38300-SDB-A03. $23 bucks at local dealer.
I assume you've tried the fuses. I think there is a different fuse for each.
Also a diff flasher for turn signals.
If both lights are off and all fuses checked then it might be a bad ground connection on the turn signal and bulb circuit.
Hope this helps.
Lets start at the beginning. The turn signals and brake lights use different fuses but both go thru the turn signal switch and use the same bulbs. Have you checked the fuses for each circuit and does each switch have power in and out ?
you need to check to see which bulbs don`t work both front and back lights for the signal on the side it`s not working, you don`t say if any signals work or not if no signals work then you need to check the fuses under the dash on the driver`s side.now if it`s just one side then check the lights as mentioned above.if one isn`t then replace the bulb.if neither bulb is working then it sounds like the signal flasher is not working.turn on the hazard flashers and check the lights front and back.if all bulbs work then leave the hazards on and look under the dash for the flasher that is making the noise, this will show what the signal flasher will look like, then find the signal flasher on the fuse panel under the dash it should be located on the fuse panel.and replace
