I have an 03 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi, engine light is on, I had the ETB light flash, but has since gone out. I did the key method and have the following codes: p0440 p0456 p2106 p2175, I would like to know what the codes mean.
P0440 - Evap. system performance (this could be something as simple as not turning the gas cap several times after you fill up.
p0456 - Evap leak monitor Small leak detected. - Could be related to the previous code.
p2106 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Forced limited power : This one you might have noticed the vehicle running rough, overdrive not working properly and cruise control will not set.
p2175 - Throttle Actuator Control System - Low airflow detected.
What you might want to try first is have the codes cleared which most auto parts stores offer this for nothing (unless you have a programmer then you can do it yourself). Pour in some fuel injector cleaner into your gas, put a new air filter on. And when you fill up your gas tank, crank the cap several times when you put it back on.
See if the codes come back on after that.

p0440 and p0456 are both a leak in the EVAP system, (probably the cannister, under the truck.) p2106 and p2175 are both the Throttle actuator control system,p2106 is forced limited power. p2175 is no air flow detected. Find the leak in the evap. system that will fix two of your codes. Clean your throttle-body that might fix the other two codes. I'm not sure about that, as I am recently confronted with that problem on my 04 Ram. Good Luck.
