One of the fog lights is out. how do I get to it? not accessable from under the car.

You must access the fog light from under the car.

The fog lamp assemblies can be removed by getting underneath the front bumper and on top of the fog lamp assemblies you will find the metal mounting bracket. The bracket attaches to the vehicle with 3 small bolts that are 8-10mm (i forgot exactly) that bolt down through the bracket into the front bumper cover above the actual lens itself and can be accessed with a box wrench. I replaced both assemblies in mine in under 1/2 and hour!

underneath the offending fog light there is an access panel. its held closed with two 10mm bolts. take out the two bolts and reach inside for the fog light. there is a tab you must press inward to turn the the socket. turn the fog light socket and remove it from the fog light housing. replace the bulb, and reverse the steps for reassembly.

you replace the fog lamps by going under front bumper fascia.remove the pushpins and take down the splash shield to access the back of the fog lamps.then you remove two bolts retaining the fog lamp to the back of front bumper.besure to wear clean gloves.because fog lamps is halogen bulbs.if you touch with bare hands the oils from hands will make the bulbs over heat and blow out.

remove lower splash shild under front clip and wheel well should then gain access to fog lights

to remove the fog lamp assy u must go under the truck, it is held in from the rear, there will be a couple of studs and nuts you remove, I am a little confused hear, you have fog lights in the rear of the truck? is this a typo?

Step:
1. Turn tires away from vehicle
2. There is a plastic covering in front of the wheel that usually goes around the wheel well. There are plastic thumb pins on the outer edges of this plastic covering. Remove the thumb pins and this plastic piece will come off.
3. Behind this you will find access to your fog lights.
4. Remove/Replace just like an ordinary head light.

you need to remove the 2 nuts from under the fascia that hold the assembly in. this will give you access to the bulb

in the bottom of the fog light is a cover held on by 2 screws...remove those screws and that should allow access to the bulb. this is per chrysler manual for 2001 cherokee factory installed fog lights

you don't. you disconnect the wire on the back of the light assembly and then the bulb twists counter clockwise and pops out, to re-install reverse the procedure. the wire is accessible from below the car under a black plastic flap the pulls down out of the way directly underneath the fog light.
