The ign coils should be marked. The front cylinders are 1 3 5 and the rears are 2 4 6..... the coils starting from the front is 1,4 5,2 3,6

It doesn't seem to me it is a routing problem. I think you have a spark plug wire leak instead.Replace wires.

Changed spark plugs, car turns over but wont start

Double check to make sure you didn't accidentally unplug and censors on the harness. Also check your fuses. for you ignition.

I am looking for the Location of the Spark Plugs on my 97 pontiac bonneville SE.

you will find the spark plugs it self by following the wiring thats going into the engine block if it a 6 cyclinder there is 6 wires change one spark plug one at a time DO NOT pull all the plugs out cause u will not remember the order they go inand thats the firing pattern if u lose the firing pattern u will have to call a mechanic or go online and look it up.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2..Cylinders are 1-3-5- in the FRONT from Passenger side to drivers side and 2-4-6 are in the back Passenger side to drivers side. Coils are 1-4-5-2-3-6 front to back.

Firing order for the Pontiac Bonneville SE 3.8L engine is 1-6-5-4-3-2. The number one spark plug is on the front left of the engine.
