Sound like you have a bad alternator, poss bad battery too.If you can jump start it with a volt meter check voltage at battery should have above 13.5 volts, do this after you unhook jumper cables and engine running. If bad voltage reading replace alternator make sure you charge battery before starting engine with new alternator or it could damage alternator. If good voltage have battery check.Hope this helped.

Was fine started great then voltage hand went left abs light came on brake light came on dome lights came on head lights went off all panel lights went crazy blinking then jeep would not start without

Seems to be having problems with the alternator. Alternator itself can be bad, but also the voltage regulator, which sits inside the PCM (powertrain control module).
Don´t continue using with battery voltage around the 10V, because it will ruin your battery as well. Completely charge the battery with an external battery charger and let the alternator be checked out first.

Hey I went to start my 97 toyota avalon today and it wouldn't even turn over none of the lights would come on or anything..... What's wrong with my car lol

First try jumping the vehicle. If it won't jump you you need to check the main buss fuse in the power distribution box (Should be a 40 amp). If that is good check for a grounded positive going to the starter where metal contact with the wire may have worn a hole in the insulation. If both are good and the inline fuse from the positive is not blown pull the alternator and have it and the Voltage regulator checked at Auto Zone, Advance auto or Pep Boys. One if these is going to be the problem.

Avalon won't start, fast clicking noises

Sounds like a dead battery issue. If someone can jump start you with battery cables connect red to red post on battery and black to your car frame or other ground. If the car starts easily it indicates a discharged battery. Then you need to determine why the battery is discharged. If you can drive to a local autoparts store they can use a machine to do a battery and charging system diagnosis at the curbside. Autozone, Advance, or Oreilly all do this. If the battery is the original from the car when purchased it is probably time to replace it. If its a new one (2 years or less) the culprit may be the alternator. The clicking noise is a dead give away that its a battery or alternator issue. The clicking by the way is the starter trying to engage and turn motor over to crank it. Its not getting enough power to turn the engine over (a tough task) and is clicking.

1985 dodge powerwagon, lights went dim driving home now wont start, just replaced battery 6 months ago. starter clicked at first then nothing.

The alternator may not be charging the battery. Jump start it, and use a volt meter at the battery, red lead to positive and black to neg. The meter should read between 13 and almost 15 volts, any lower than 13 volts, the alternator is no good. (this is done with vehicle running).
