its a trans code that is manufacture controlled meaning the information for the code meaning is not required by law for them to describe. so my code lookup program does not have that info. but go to the dealer and if you can nice talk one of the techs and mabee he/she will look it up on the mds for you.

You say you changed the battery recently. It may be one of two things causing the trouble code...

1. New battery may not be good. It happens all the time. Have it checked to make sure.
2. A loose battery cable can throw the code as well. Check battery cables to make sure they are completely tight and secure.

cannot find a code p1698 but did find a p0698
p0698 is Accelerator pedal position sensor supply voltage to low
