i can not find the Cummis electrics wiring pages.
the fuel rail has pressure sensor
if you just SCAN the PCM it will show if that is good or bad.
check all fuse first
then SCAN the diesel PCM.
or buy the real books from DODGE< on this truck.

There is a fuse and relay under the hood on the drivers side right above the front tire. Open the fuse access cover and look in your manual to find the fuel pump fuse and relay if it is not listed on the underside of the cover.

sounds like a ground may not be rite--also chec the plug into the pump for corrosion--relay cud be bad-test it--ask a parts person where you bot the scanner to help you

If you remove the fuel pump fuse of relay you will stop the flow of fuel. A simple on/off switch installed on the hot wire going to the fuel pump will work.

it doesn't have a fuel pump relay it has a fuel pump control unit and it is located on the chassis back quarter drivers side near the tube cross member for chassis on top of chassis rail near bed mount. locate the rear springs front perch and it will be above that on top of rail.
