Sounds a lot like you have a bad relay. Open the fuse box and listen for the one that's clicking. Pull it out and replace it with a new one. See if the problem goes away.

check your brake lights make sure their working this happened to me and it was my brake lights were both out

1995 Imprezza what??? coupe, sedan, wagon???FWD?? AWD?? Engine size??its IN THE TANK, under the rear seat. Take out the bottom and back.

Make SURE your door key, outside in the door... is straight up and down. The security system is protecting the car, it thinks the doors need to be locked. This is sometimes caused by the keyhole not being verticle.

there are individual fuses for each side headlamps,both are 15amp located in fuse box underhood,check em out
